    Got my new bike yesterday!!

Well, new second hand... 1994 Bimota SB6... has taken many long months to finally get it (from Japan) and it is AWESOME... rode from Christchurch to Blenheim yesterday and the thing corners like its on rails... but less than 500 rpm difference between 100kph and 120kph... nice cop in a cop truck gave me the waggly finger warning and managed to avoid two others by considerate motorists flashing lights etc.. so all in all was a good ride.. except for cars with those projector beam headlights that are too hight... very annoying in the dusk.... and after driving my landcruiser i didn't realise how shite NZ roads are.. firm as oak seat and rear suspension probably didn't help Only saw one bike going in opposite direction.. was a cruiser and he/she didn't wave back
Now need to find fellow bikers in Blenheim that want to ride... think there's a car and bike show here in the next weekend but can't find the paper the ad was in (wife started fire the nice piece of paper conveniantly left on the table ...) so might meet some bikers there.. anyone know anything about this?

might go out and clean the bugs off it now...

Welcome to the site Shagg. Georgous bike, love the 'pivot to pivot' straight beam, frame. Looks very chunky. Awesome bike.

Nice bike. I take it that's a GSXR motor wedged in there? Oh and welcome aboard.

A seriously cool ride. Your piles must be aching today after a long ride on a seat like that...
