These are really great bikes for what they are ... it's the 650 version of the TNAB .... They are pretty quick ... handle well (they are fun and flickable - the in-line four is very responsive) and are very comfortable to ride ... it's not a lean-down riding position like an SV .. and I would rate the GSF over the SV for speed any day ... (I've seen 217 indicated on the clock on my oil-cooled and carbed version)
I have the early GSF650 ... and I commute on it most days ... I don't ride it long distance ... it's not as stable on the road as the bigger 1250 version ... which I do ride long distance.
The mileage of the bike you're looking at is low ... and the price is about right ... It is a good step-up bike ...
But think about what SVBoy says - you might grow out of it pretty quickly ... I use mine for a specific purpose - daily transport ... but I have another bike for the weekends ...
PS .. if you buy it .. tighten up the front suspension and put Continental Road Attack tyres on it ... that will make a big difference in the handling ...
