Nothing is irreplaceable...it's just a function of time and dosh...at the moment, the latter is overcoming the desire to keep it, and continue to periodically get one of the biggest thrills readily available in motorcycledom..they jet keep going, even at the big numbers it still seems to keep accelerating..

Have you considered your kidneys though? You only need one, the spare is worth quite a bit.

    Just saying.

Selling the TD3...I'm sure it was a good idea at the time..it was air-cooled when that was probably no longer the fashion, had drum brakes when even the RD street bikes had discs and the TD3 twin rear shocks...and converting it to TZ-spec would have cost more than the result was worth or may have been affored at the time...great fun little machins though, even if the cooling fins keep falling off..

We have a TR3 in the shed in need of restoration, which I managed to buy for what I would have paid for the froint wheel alone...getting close to doing it now...

I don't know, I traded it on the H2B at southside motorcycles in ChCh in about 1981-82. I too would love to know where it is now.
