    Shocked at MX entry fees

8 year old nephew doing first event this weekend and its $120 for him to enter ($95 for event $20 for day licence)

Seems a shame more kids wanting to do it their parents are not able to afford it ...

Some kids may also like to learn to fly a light aircraft. I understand that's expensive. When the Green Party gets elected you may well find that because money grows on trees, things like actual cost become less of a barrier to our aspiring youths.

A club day usually $30 sign on if a member extra if not, MNZ licence $100 add club member ship $50-60 paid annually. Big events the sky's the limit.
Trail rides are getting up in price also , so unless you've got a farm it all costs.
