    Don't know about you, but I always found the bevel's flat seat just so much more comfortable than that slightly tilted one on the rubber ducks. Something to do with crushed nuts...

    I did 800 kms 2 up once on the Darmah in the 80's , these days I find the seat a bit hard...that's office work and age for ya.
    The 900SSie was a far superior bike the to bevel drive in nearly every way, the engine is nigh on bullet proof, could wind it out to rev limiter, slick 6 speed box, easy to change belts, easy to check tappets, ...other than having to drop the rear shock off....awesome sound...but I never took to it or the styling or that noisy dry clutch.
