Well it was probably aimed at the "Playstation" generation and not actual bikers.

I liked it in MI2 when the tires changed from roads to knobblys and back again all over the place.

One thing that pisses me off over and over again when they make racing simulation games or bike movies is the the lack of attention to detail!!! Why the F would they go through all the trouble and not do it right? I simply can't understand it. Maybe its the perfectionist me talking...

    EXACTLY!!!

Or how you sit down to watch Matrix and feel like you should be watching the movie holding an X Box Controller!!

Torque looks exactly like that - impossible stunts, ridiculously unsafe stunts at that. As for the whole back flip, kick the chick off the bike stunt - well come on!

Why do they waste their money producing movies that are like watching video games - with a plot that describing as unsubstantial is being kind, stunts that involve more computer power than mechanical power, character depth exceeded by comic book characters???

Makes no sense to me.......but hey, I suppose I am of the generation that stupidly appreciates a good story line, real action sequences, real actors/actresses, value for money and a lasting experience. Silly me.

Anything that keeps teenage boys away from porn can't be a bad thing...

Kinda the point! If you ever get to see the directors notes the whole point was to make the impossible parts "look" cgi to add to the sense of the matrix bing computer generated fiction.

I haven't seen either but want to see both, maybe its the pragmatist in me but in action flicks I look for a little unreality. If they only showed the credible it would not be entertainment so much as the evening news with the plays of the week thrown in. :sneaky2:

Well i just came back from watching Torque at the movies. My O My. Martin Henderson and the blonde chick ( forgot her name already ) were there, they gave a lil intro and did a few Q&A's with the crowd. Man that chick is smokin, she looks ok in the movie, but in real life .

With the movie, i thought i was watching a playstation game.

My opinion of the movie, save ya money and use it for gas instead.
