    Sidecars are for pussies ...

The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

    What ever rips your shorts!!!

Personally I think a sidecar is for Bichons.

Flip on the other hand would probobly tell you they are for welsh terriers, or Mrs Flip.

And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

The Marines use a kawasaki Diesel 670,I rode one for a couple off days amazing bike lots off low end torque.
The major reason for a diesel bike was that they have a policly ,'one fuel for all' in the marines hence nothing runs on petrol.

Diesel KLR vs KTM 530? I know which one I'd rather be on if I was being chased by a hilux-load of maniacal taliban

Not a proper military machine but I do like the look of the Trumpy scramblers in green.

    Cheers

Probably the most recognised military bike in the world. and one that started my love affair with Triumph Bonneville.

I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
