    Suzuki VIN numbers?

Can anyone tell me how to decode the Vin numbers on a Suzuki frame? Mainly interested in confirming the year.
Seems like from the US sites I can find, its based on the 10th digit, which should be a letter, but doesnt seem to be the case as the one I am looking are numbers.

Are they different for NZ vins?

yeah have tried that one before, but comes up with an error as the tenth didgit is meant to tell the year, but aparently cant be a 0 or O which in the number I am entering it is.

Popped into Suzuki, and yip it comes up as a 2012 RMZ250. The guy confirmed that alot of the late model bikes, the VIN code doesnt usually tell you the year, unlike most other brands.

My one ends in 7532, does that mean yours is 1000 Suzuki's older than mine?
