I'd never lost faith in humanity but I know what you mean OP. I've met some seriously top notch people through motorcycling thus far, a lot of them from here. Ive lost count of how many endless, inane questions have been answered or how many times people have helped fix my bike, teach me new tricks, look at bikes with me, you name it. I do think having girly bits helps a little bit especially when at the shops! All in all most motorcyclists are good souls.
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Not really. Daftly obscure reference to a disclaimer lost in the mists of 12,000 posts.

I like having a page on facebook. A page sets the terms of reference - ie *not* what you had for breakfast.

Well that at least is a good thing to hear. I had a fantastic experience when I bought Millie from Colemans. Darryl was fantastic to deal with and they all catered for my short stature without making me feel like an inferior being. I did not even ride Millie before I bought her. Seems this sort of experience is becoming the norm instead of being ignored or patronised which used to be my experience of shopping in a bike shop

I don't think being a "good cunt" is solely a biker trait though. There are lots of them out there you just have to expect to find them is all. Bikers are perceived to be bit of a brotherhood ,que Katman, so that is generally what you find. I have absolutely no doubt that there are plenty of bikers out there that are simply cunts

Oh right, I thought it was something you'd said to me directly at some point.

Worst facebook updates, are pictures of people's dinner.

Back on topic. I don't think bikers are any better as people, than any other demographic.

Most don't mean any harm, some try to help, few can't help but help, and lots are fuckin cock heads.

The only time I have felt belittled was 1 or 2 people at RB. the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing. To their benefit it was nearing end of day, but it was a few different vists.
Though in saying that lol I've spent the last few days at Cycletreads staying until 6 trying on every shoe in the house........they close at 5.30

To a degree I agree with you. When I was on the side of the road many people went past me. Funnily enough the same dude on a gold and black bike went past about a dozen times. I think he was practicing those corners. I don't blame him as such, more cause he was entertainment. But yeah I do wonder if anyone would have stopped if John hadent turned up.
1 car did pull over as I started walking up the hill and the woman asked if they could help. So there are some nice 4 wheeled people lol.

Thing is even those guys and girls (however a fewer many there are of us) that are just cunts have friends and family that think they are "all right mate"
Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it's not there.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.
