That reminds me about a pom I know. His father is in any business he can make a quick buck, a few years back my conrod decided to kill itself on the start line, smashed the bottom end literally in half. So anyway the top end was salvageable so the engine was sold to an engine builder for peanuts and I got to keep the toasted piston.

So anyway, this pom was doing a mechanics course and knew about my piston and asked if he could borrow it to show at his class. I was fine with it but needed it back in a month, I had already organised with a mate to have it mounted on wood and given to my dad as a fathers day present. A month goes by, still haven't got it back. So I hit him up "what piston? I didn't see any piston and I've never shown a piston in my course". So I hit up my brothers mate who's at his course who confirmed he showed it to the class. The stupid pom still denied ever even seeing it. Found out later he gave it to his dad to sell for scrap metal. He did the same with a carb he borrowed off my dad years before.

Sounds like an arse. But I think in the "shit poms did to me" stakes, that would be some way behind the colonizers of the Victorian era.

Some poms are twits and don't give credit where its due or get rid of stuff that is not theirs. This is not news.

Luckily there are no kiwi twits at all. None. Not even one. Anywhere.

    Sweet.

We have to have the bad to recognise the good.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Anything I wrote was not meant to sound bad,it just how things are some times.
Should I mention all were males so ego can be a factor.

    My favourite.
She might still be a member and was involved with newbie riders quite a bit, wrote a cruiser type bike.
She posted one day that her letterbox was having some form of drama and could anybody help.
Responses it seems were a little thin on the ground for letterbox repairman so I thought why not,she was helping the biking community so I could repay something.
Two trips from Manurewa to Swanson (iirc) and back and it was as good as new after some fabrication (new mount bracket and paint) and a few new holes drilled on site.
    She was wrapped,all good.
I just think most people will help you out at a grass roots level with no catches if you ask,I hope NZ never changes like that.
Besides if you do a good deed now and again, you can be a $%^& the rest of the time with a clear conscience.

Having a split personality is not a cover, it's a condition.

Yep, we're about to get diagnosed by Doctor Scissorhands. "All bikers are mental because (insert some stupid reasoning here)".

For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
