    Silliest bike comparison yet written

The Internet can be a funny place. Every now and then I see an impressive bike review written by someone who is obviously brimming with enthusiasm, but their command of the English language falls a wee bit short (and the author is endearingly oblivious to the sad truth). I think this one wins the all-time prize. If I ever sat down to write an epic parody of such a review, where the writer's reach so grandilouquently exceeds their grasp, I could never in a million years have come close to matching the mind numbing genius on display here:

    http://www.bikescatalog.com/comparat...e-gt-2013.html

It's a grand effort with very good (possibly stolen) images. Unintentional comedy in its highest form. I laughed so hard I peed a little.

Struggled through the blurb, then realised in the first few words of the first paragraph it was never going to get any better...

it's a translation.... Sadly the grammar, syntax and sentence structure of the English language Vs 'continental ones' will always produce epic laughs with translated text.
I can assure you, when English is translated by 'google/babelfish' etc it produces an equal laugh for them.

Translation by Google. Even so, it's still really badly written.

    I probably don't qualify.

Yahoo Aleado, the Japanese version of Trademe is translated the same. Its almost impossible to work out what the go is. All you can really do is read the pictures.

"Opinion of good weather at the GT in 2013! With step less than one total innovation – Triumph 1200 Trophy SE – and of a major change – Yamaha FJR 1300 A -, the amateurs of beautiful motor bikes of tourism have more than ever the choice vis-a-vis the reference BMW R1200RT. Here our comparative selective and our measurements between the coasts Normans and the paving stones of the great classic of Paris-Roubaix… The GT deeply evolved during these twenty last years, between the first travel goods shops hardly integrated and braking ABS way “extension cable of distance” on the bumps, and the ultimate ultra fast vessels which do not stumble almost any more on the angle, carry 30 liters of luggage moreover, the whole combined with a frightening security level…"

Just these opening paragraphs are so funny I can't go on, but hey at least there is some "frightening security level" - that will keep terrorist at bay I presume.

Isn't that an article that was originally in French? About as intelligent as the owners' manual for a Lada my dad bought many moons ago...entertaining yes, comprehensible not so much
