Does anyone in WELLINGTON have a bike that I can rent for a day?

I have a lady friend coming down to visit around 1-12 July and need a bike to do something that I have planned for her.
The only reason I ask is because my rego ran out and I wanna ride legally.
Im after a decent condition, sporty bike around 250-650ccs.
Im 21 and have my full licence.

Im willing to pay but im a poor student so be reasonable!!

My guess will be no. If you can't afford a rego, you can't afford to replace the bike if you bin it. You're 21 so good luck to anyone lending you a bike to have you added to their insurance.

Surely the cheapest easiest option is to visit a vtnz and buy 3 months rego.

Try the bike shops they may have a trade in that they maybe able to rent you

You can go into a post shop and put 1 months rego on your bike if you really want to. It's not an option on the form but just ask at the counter and they can do it.
That's gonna be like $30 - $40 bucks which will be cheaper and easier than borrowing someone elses bike.
