    Great find I find it slightly disturbing that they call it "vintage" though because that makes me "vintage" too, having grown up with a lot of those bikes

    They were a really fast bike at the time but had some significant reliability problems. The slightly earlier version, the Constellation was a bit more reliable having a slightly lower state of tune. Took the attached photo of a Constellation at a vintage bike rally in New Plymouth in 1994. Still a nice-looking bike.

    Cycle magazines for $20 per copy? I gave away about 10 years worth in exchange for a little more space in the attic.

    I had piles of these when I was a kid, I think my folks may of chucked them out when I left home. Could of made a bit of gas money.
