Yeah, wide steel rims, cellphone antenna (stick-on glass kind with curly middle), LPG sticker, not a lease car (no Schofields badge), on sunny days a reflection of the flouro jacket on the seat, no kids in the car, two mid 20 to 30 year olds with coppa-spec mo-goatee's.
I'm selling my new riding gear!! Only worn a few times get a deal Kiwibikers!!

Kinda makes a radar-detector redundant eh??

And when it has mags, no LPG sticker and one guy (not wearing his flouro jacket) and semi-opague screening over the back-tray mounted lights etc does this technique still work??

Exactly, spotting them from a distance, and being 100% sure is fucking hard these days.

    There's only 3 choices.

    1. Treat ALL modern cars as slimy cops and dont exceed 100 when in visual range.

    2. Treat ALL modern cars as slimy cops, but take the risk that they aren't.

    3. (choice 3 is stressful, takes guts, and can't be 'half pie') - run a false plate and always do a runner if a cop flags ya - no hesitation. (be sure to have a 220kph capable machine)

I wonder if all cop cars have the sat-nav transponder thingy?
How hard would it be to pick up the same info as it wafts through the eather?
Would it be difficult to put a radar, as in ship/aircraft type, screen on your bike so you get a 1k warning?
Is anyone out their going to build one?
Can I have one to please?
If people are spending $1000 on detectors that only work with radar (too late if you get hit with a laser) How much will they pay for one of these?
Can my one be free as I thought of the idea?
    Oh go on....
    Please?
    What about cost price?
    Pretty please?

(1). Hmm, you would never speed in this case.

(2). It would end up costing you a lot of time and dollars.

(3). EVENTUALLY things would go horribly pear-shaped, still, from your hospital bed/grave you would have the satisfaction of knowing you had saved many dollars with this technique!!

EDIT: Almost forgot, you would need an 'invisible-stealth' anti-helicopter mode as well for option(3).

Works better with no plate and a 260k machine.

But even then it's as much good luck as good management. It's pissing down with rain, roadworks approaching, you're tired and your missus is on the back... all of a sudden a fine doesn't sound so bad. Even I'd stop then.

In my hypothetical "greatest hits album", top speed was never the issue, it was lack of deceleration and proximity to side roads.
