We never did post a ride report.
On the anniversary of Scott's death it seems fitting to share some of it.

Thanks for posting that
sad stuff indeed
Thanks for sharing Jim. No words. I was actually staying in Waihi Beach at the time of hearing about the accident not too far up the road. It would be another year or so before I'd meet you and Kyle. Respect to you both. RIP Scott.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
Very moving Jim, and the last few seconds of that video just show how a simple piece of road can catch someone out. Take care everyone. RIP Scott.
Cheers
Merv
Thanks for sharing that Jim.
It was nice to see Scotty having so much fun on his last ride.
Lovely to hear him laughing and making silly comments.....
thinking of you and Kyle today too
RIP Zukin
Sadly missed
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Thanks Jim, that was a worthy way to remember Scott.

Good one Jim.
Jim - thanks for posting - clearly the three of you were having a great time until Scott's accident - very sad - steadying reminder to us all - cheers S
those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind..
On ya Jim............................................... ..........................................
A toast to Zukin, an excellent bloke and still sorely missed.

Well remembered Jim, I'm surprised how often I think of Scott when I'm riding, for a guy I knew for a short time he made a big impact.
I always stop for a chat with him when I'm on the Coromandel.
R.I.P Scott
Thank you Jim for posting the video - "Food for thought"
Scott organised the first KB ride I went on (the WWWWW?). A great guy, often in my thoughts when I am out riding.
RIP Scott
