She's looking good there Pete , will it be ready for Taupo ?
Looking at getting new plastics for my 84 guards, headlight and radiator covers 190 euros delivered from Austria, just got to convince the bank manager/wife it's a sound investment.

Taupo? Are they having the VMX meet at Easter again? Do it. Sounds like a fucking good price for gen plastic!

Pete Sat 26 April VMX Taupo Anzac wknd, gotta get Saturday off work before I can go.
Yep Acerbis are redoing there VMX plastics, have them for 300 euros just for the guards and headlight on EBay Italy add 150 euros freight way to much F....N! Italians.
Andre [www.enduroklassiker.com] has them in stock and way cheaper and radiator covers [genuine] not that poorly made DC plastics from the states.

Pete theres something dodgy about that workshop...i can't put my finger on it but those red pushrod tubes on the panhead in the background are just wrong.
Are all your mechanics colourblind or is the shop changing it's name to Welly County Choppers?

    Nice RM by the way.

There's big bore 2 smokes KX,CR, YZ, KTM . Then there's the Maico 700cc MXer the ultimate 2 smoke big bore built by those mad Dutch for their Sand tracks and Love of Side Car Cross , you know Pete that's what you really need 80hp in a friendly 210 lb package.

No thanks mate. Can get myself into enough trouble with 40 odd. Popped out to the Johnny Olds track today to help out a bit...fuck it's looking good. BUt I'm so unfit...walking around it was hard. Riding round it will fucking kill me.

And here it is Bro...finally finished. Still lots of loose ends to tidy up (the jetting is miles out, but I've simply run out of time obviously), so whilst I really shouldn't try and race it tomorrow...I'm fucking going to! Been waiting too long and come too far not to. Glad I went with the 40mm carb though. Even though it needs work...when it comes right...the thing is a fucking jet. Feels healthier than my YZ465H, and dare I say it...going close to KX500 teritory. See you tomorrow at the Johnny Olds. Oh...and if you get this in time and have a spare NGK B8EGV...could you bring one I can buy off you?
