From memory there is a decent club for it in the Naki? Could be wrong. They do trials events for them down here too (have done for years).

This is a shot of a buddy in his road legal Austin at a trails event.

Sheeze, I was the youngest there - probably by about 30 years on average. But an awesome weekend, and Struan's wee car is a fun wee thing. Don't think I'll be trading the bike anytime soon tho
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Considering the Singer was built before penicillin was available, I assume then that period attire should include prophylactic's ?

Those pesky Austin 7's usually dominate Vintage Trials (they are amazing) and yes, the sport is quite strong in Nelson / Marlborough.
My Singer was restored in 1994 with really only the road in mind, especially as it's much rarer than the Seven's.

Good look....car and scenery that is. Attire - particularly headgear needs work.

They must of used them to test jump all of their rides back then.

Yeah you don't see many Singers around at all unless it's a sewing machine .
I believe that Austin was his parents as well which is pretty cool.

Good luck with the car man and keep us updated with more sweet photos =D

I reckon a leather flight style hat and goggles would be the ticket in that thing.
