    The Barn Find

The 1947 Rover 16 HP Sports Saloon from the Barn Find collection will be on display at the Ashburton VCC Swap Meet, Saturday 2nd May 2015.
The question is: do I clean it or just leave it as is i.e. true Barn Find?

Looks pretty bloody good as it is, I'd buy it looking like that. Would make for an awesome before and after photo, not that it looks to need much work anyway.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Leave as is. Someone will love to buy it looking like that as it has the authentic 'barn find' look. You can see shiny clean cars everywhere - that one looks like a time capsule

The Barn Find Auction went bloody well. Everything sold & far exceeded our reserve's.
I have posted prices achieved here: http://www.slipstreamcs.co.nz/vccbb/...9&p=1434#p1434

    Awesome result!
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Looks nice Struan - doubtless you'll have lots of fun - I expect you've already discovered this http://www.modelt.org/mtfcivb/forumd...cussion-Forum? I uncovered in my attempt more about your latest prize possession
