I heard that he had just joined KB and was using the KB (secret) wave.

For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
funnily enough i thought this thread was actually about waving with your leg.
i do it sometimes when passing other bikers who are pretending to be cars when im lanesplitting and dont want to release the throttle.
Education not Legislation
I waved my leg in a kicking motion to a car on my side of the road last weekend......
Lots of talk about the Rossi leg. From G-forces to air resistance helping the cornering.
Personally I think he started doing it to visually distract the riders behind him and now it is used as a blocking technique as it effectively blocks the rider behind stuffing their front wheel into that space.
But I may be wrong as you don't need to ride like that on my Honda .........
Some people I've seen started sticking a leg out once they'd crashed a couple of times.
Don't know fully what to make of that.
I've done it just in fucking about an found it steadies things up a bit on the edge but I'm to lazy to have taken it past that an I'm not riding a fuckin' dirt bike anyway.
No offence to dirt bikers.
Rossi was asked about it a lot when he first started doing it. He said he didn't know why, but that the bike felt better.
The commentators currently think it's about loading the front tyre, but it doesn't wash with me.
i think it just get a bit of weight inside and forward and has the "dont Think about coming up the inside casey" factor
Ha. I gleaned that nugget from a Spike Milligan book, Rommel. Gunner who? Or some such. That's what they did in the trenches in winter fighting in Italy. Tried it during Scottish winters when I wore a one piece undersuit & one piece over siut. Takes practice to get it just right....
Oh, yeah, on topic. Most of what I have herd indicates it makes him a bigger obstacle to pass.
Manopausal.
