    My new V Rod Muscle

Got a V Rod Muscle this week from Wellington Motorcycles. Rode it back from Wellington today in the rain.
What a stunning bike! TAB performance pipes and tuner. This thing moves, it stops and handles well with the 240 rear tyre and the noise from the pipes is nothing short of hot.

    Sweet!

Looked seriously at one of these instead of the XR but, being somewhat short of leg, reaching the pegs was too much of a challenge!

    Cool bike, enjoy the ride.

I remember an old fella, might have been my grandaddy saying
""when your riding your bike boy, and the ass end starts to dance, just think of it as a Tyre sticking outta ya bum and dance with it""
When tar snakes and shingle corners have given me that feeling I remember that saying ....so I wiggle me bum point the bars where I want to go and open the throttle... works for me.

And hey nice ride, its the Harley I believe they actually thought about before building...its good good gear on it....

according to the father in law (an american who has 2 harleys) while he was over here visiting a few weeks ago.. "its not a real harley, its not air cooled and made by "them germans"... probably means its a better bike but no real harley rider would buy one".

Sounds like the perfect bike to me :P

Well you know, I have to say he is a wanker. It's a Harley. Plain and simple. I've had both and I know what I would rather have. Can he say the same?

I've interviewed a few of their engineers. Very clever people who really live it. They think plenty.
