Well I have been waiting for a pile of parts for my Triumph Trophy 1200 for 6 years. Good luck with the gloves, don't do what I did and pay for them until you see them...............

You will get a letter from them in a couple of years stating that the parts you have ordered are now obsolete ..........

IMHO its Triumph to me who is Obsolete. I have had better service from the Lifan/Shineray agent, much better.

Don't expect much more than that. Somehow 6 fairing clips @ $60 each never made it too us.

Last I heard Triumph were imported by the lumbering behemoth of the beckhaus empire, who import just about every brand of everything motorcycle or power sport related in enzed.

If the monopolies commission could be bothered looking into this interesting situation they would probably find that the economies of scale in the nz motorcycle industry,as compared to ,say,Indonesia(where they sell 800 new motorcycles PER DAY)mean that the only way to make money out of the brands they sell is the way it is now.

Don't kid yourselves, the nz market is only slightly more important to the factories than what they had for lunch yesterday, and I venture that if it was not for the farm market there would hardly be an industry in nz at all.

Which all boils down to the way it is ain't gonna be changing anytime soon,I mean let's face it,who else would like to take over if Beckhaus Inc. suddenly said goodbye?

For a consumer to be king there needs to be competition, and in the niche market that is low volume motorcycle sales in new Zealand, there is precious little of that.

True the Beckhaus family have the distributor rights to a range of marques, but last time I looked Honda, Suzuki, KTM, Kawasaki, Ducati, and Harley-Davidson are all with separate distributors. Seems to me that there is still competition in the market place.
