    Advice about Kawasaki ZR-7s & ZR750s?

Well, looks like time to get a new bike. The current one is too stuffed...

    Am interested in this:

Read many good things about it but all overseas. My questions are:
    1. Anyone here have or had this bike? Opinions on it?
    2. Seems uncommon here in NZ - will parts be difficult and/or expensive?

Thanks. RB was offering me 1K trade-in on my old bike off this Kawa.... A good deal?

In that case, how about this?

Closer to home and well priced?

I think its better value for your money. Most likely keep you smiling performance wise for longer and good on trips.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-620507565.htm get cheeky and offer 4750 buy now.

The 750s will be good bikes. I just like the next size up.

How'd it feel size wise sitting on my Hornet?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-621216528.htm That'll be pretty much the same. Dent in the tank is a bit of a bugger, but you could probably get it cheapish, and it would be pretty damn reliable.

If you didn't mind the V-twin on your Magna, http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-618024024.htm not too awful a bargain either.
There's a couple other SV650s floating around that look to be pretty decent as well.

Heard mixed things about these http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-621225270.htm but he's been trying to sell it awhile and might negotiate down. Worth a go anyway

Good to see you looking on the proper side of the millennium for a change though

Uncomfortable... but then I am taller than you.

Spokes has seen it. "Stay away from that one..." he says.

I am against stepping up over 600cc for a measly extra 50cc. If I'm gonna go over 600cc, it'll definitely have to be a 750cc to be worth my while.

Yeah, the GSRs are an awesome looking bike. This one has that munted fork seal, and needs a lot of parts replacing. Not sure of that one... But love the look of it, as I said. Looks like it may be comfortable enough for a pillion too... The wife has expressed her enthusiasm for being a passenger.

Heh! Heh! Yeah, it had to happen sooner or later - too bad it had to be sooner. I'd only had this Yamaha YX600 for 8-9 months...
