Actually thats a good point Drew, betting he can do it for far less than even the price of a cheaqper unit like the Hagon.Must say i was well impressed with the Hagon damper though,i bought one of the 1st to be sent overseas and a week or so after i fitted it i got a phone call from this dude Peter Leech who worked for Hagon in England asking what i thought, nice bloke.

It'd need a serious re spec, since it's from a bike that has linkages to effect the rising rate. So it'll be sprung way wrong, but could be a not bad starting point.
I've got a pretty decent shock from the RF, which is the same as a GSXR1100 item.
Rebuild-able, adjustable, and has a remote res (for not needing to move reg/rec). Cheap to a good home if ya wanna hit up the good Dr to see if it's a viable option.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.
Cheers. Yes I realize valving would be out. Ive looked at GSXR but the bottom is clevis and the Hornet is an eye. Need about 290mm long.
Ive got an idea on spring rate from US guys that track them. I would go a little lower to make up for our roads. Some guys over there are using CBR600 F3 shocks and just fitting them. They seem to think they work ok but im not so sure.
There is a big spring sitting in my shed which may end up on the stock shock for a bit.
Thanks for the offer though.
Do you think you faggots could keep the Hornet suspension discussion out of the Hyperbike Ownership thread if you tried really, really hard?
A repost from September last year is all you've got huh?
