Anyhoo, the thing ate gearboxes. No shit, like every other run kinda gearbox meals. They had to keep lowering the boost till it would complete runs, and then try and set their times.
Was cool to watch though, and sounded awesome tapped out.

    Its a GEN1.
Yeah ape does a heavy duty output shaft which is apparently the first thing to strip. Alot of guys undercut their transmissions too. Thats big $$$ though

Cost me $150 for two gears to be undercut.

It's all who you know, I think about $500-700 was what it cost to get a ZX6rr whole gearbox undeercut.

It's all about who you know, and the guy I know spark erodes to save the hardening of the gears. Grinding is not the path to take.

And chains and tyres, the reason they were trying to run it so high was to win the event outright

Friday night, Ferry road in the dark doing runs down the street and coming in with the discs glowing red

Thats pretty good. It probably wouldn't cost that much after you strip the engine and box and deliver the parts yourself. All the busa info im getting is comming from the states, where hardly any cunt knows how to turn a spanner and prefers to pay insane amounts to have others do it for him. Pretty sure most hayabusa powered cars spit clutches like crazy and then the transmission. I even came across a photo where the output shaft had stripped out the inside of the front sprocket. INSANE

Allows for some major sprocket size changes with that much adjustment.

Look at the size of the bloody turbo! Bet it doesn't spool back up too quick if you bog a start.

    GT45? Pretty big turbo.
Been looking at a adjustable swingarm like that. For a round 250 US you can get a set of bolt on extensions that can extend it to 8 over. I would give this thing a blat. Looks like you might want to wrap some heat shielding around that right arm though. That dump pipe is mighty close

That's funny, considering how much of a fuck you have given when it's one of your threads taken off topic...
