Actually if any of you would like to do some work to get this over the line, I'm open to the idea of creating an organizing team and changing the organizing model so that the DB1k can continue to live into the future (getting a bit tough for me to do this via the current model). Adaptive leadership and delegation are becoming part of my vocabulary at work so why not try them out here too. Thinking we can establish a online task list with instructions etc and pick up what we can. Community based organizing.

Happy to help with this if needed, many hands and all that,

    Cheers

Talked to him the other day about an E07. The price was the same as the importer, $199.00, however he was charging $45ish(? maybe not that high but pretty substantial) to Nelson whereas the importer was only $8 from Nth Island.
He did say however he could possibly put it in a reps car & have them deliver it when they came up here.

Yeah DAS is not really set up to do shipping, much preferred to deal with the walk in face to face customer.
The Mitas importing went a bit astray last year, most people got theirs but some didn't, I ordered some (C16 and C17 for the WR) around mid October and they never showed in time for the DB1k so get organised if you want that brand.

Leave all booked in and Fairlie accom sorted.
I guess you lot would like me to organise another Christchurch to Fairlie route for the Friday? Anyone got any new route ideas? contemplating either some of Banks Peninsula or up the Rangitata River to Erewon Station. Pretty hard to leave Orari Gorge station out it's such a good trail
