    Miss your entry?

Hi Guys, I got real excited and bought my entry not wanting to miss out on a spot, but without really counting what it'd cost... I've since decided I'd rather spend the money on extending my next overseas bike trip instead (an extra month riding overseas vs 5 days in nz)
Fortunately you can "substitute" riders, so it's up for grabs.

I paid $115 for it and that's what I'm looking to get back, first in first served.

Would also be interested in a RHS DR650 plastic side cover.

If you're interested, it's best to send me a PM and I'll get back to you asap.

    Cheers,
    Russell.

    Hi team.

Figured I'd better start a bit of prep for the db today.

Reason for writing is that because I need to be in Brisbane on the Monday following the ride so I'm only riding on the Saturday but looping back to Fairlie. Not going to Alex. Also family not coming down. Therefore there is two spare beds in the motel room I booked in Fairlie Friday night and I don't need the room on the Sunday night.

So 2 spare beds on the Friday and I'll cancel the booking the the Sunday or transfer it to whomever wants it.

Let me know ASAP, going to change booking Monday.

    Cheers

Russell would be going from Auckland, so lots of extra gas, ferries, accomodation, time off work etc.

Hey Guys/Gals..just got an email from Gordon at Epic Events.

Seems he is re-mapping the route ..and he went on to say that the route this year will be routed rather than guided...whatever that means?

Anyway he went on to say that you will need Garmin Basecamp downloaded on your computer for the maps to be installed...You can get this free from Garmin's website

He said the GPS Route will be available to download the week before the event... a little close to the event ...if you ask me ..but, who's asking

    fyi.....

seems the lack of organiser input is putting people off this year....... and too bad for those travelling down the week before
