What engine has the beasty got?
All I know at this stage is that it has 6 cylinders. Was a spur of the moment thing, one of the helicopter pilots in franz was leaving and said if I wanted it drive it away, so I did. He has had the head welded up he said but it is still missing so he couldnt be fucked with it. Yippee for me. Same color as the one in the pic too.

I fitted New Carbon Lorraine brake pads, courtesy of TJ at www.ridersdiscount.com, to the Daytona. Cleaned up the calliper's.

Now all I need is less rain and more sunshine to test them out.

Tomorrow is fitting the low mount pipe.

Then remove the high ones, fit a new yellow spring and tail tidy.

My Hornet sounded fuckin mean with a stumpy pipe underneath. Looked heaps tidier too...Even though there was a few scratches on the rest of the bike.

Looks like a few stunts 'attempted'(and probably pulled off) on that bike... best pipe I have seen on a Hornet also

Maybe she is trying to tell you something Mossy. If she walks into the man cave one day when your wife is out, be worried.

Had me a garage man day.

Installed all the lights and an extra plug.

Fitted givi clip bag to bike.

Put up man cave pic and corvet pic also.

Finished the garage storage and got it ready to line the ceiling.

Not sure if gib or 7 ply would be the best way to go. Im tending for 7 ply.

Im going to have a cigar in there if my wife lets me.

Mitre 10 had some interior grade ply with a good finish one side. Prob not as cheap as Gib but it was cheaper than the bent-as-fuck tantalised 7mm ply they were trying to flog...

I have finished my Tri-band yagi antenna project. Its up in the back yard now. The antenna drive unit is due to turn up tomorrow.

The only other thing I did was to service the Vitara.

So off with the top end,
I had a new piston, and rings to go back on but because its a p.o.s china, they were infact about 18mm too small, so I have ordered the correct piston,
Just so happens to come with a new barrel that I dont need.. ($20 NZD all up )

Cleaned the valve cover, head and barrel and gave them a freshen up with paint.
That was about my weekend shedtime in a nutshell.
