Been a while, did you miss me?

yeah I know what the answer to that one will be...

Anyroad upwards, not been on here for a while, away doing other bikey and music stuff.

Got my trusty GV250 Aquila to Nelson and back in Feb without a spit, fart or rattle but gave her up for a lovely jublee ST7, fat bastard friendly and lots more fun going uphill with me on it. Now my hands are slowly returning to normal and not at 90degrees to my wrist.

Bigger bike means respect for that extra bit of oomph.....a bit of rider training helped that out.

Otherwise all good fun...so, did you miss me?

Funny thing actually. Long boring car trip from Christchurch to Dunedin and the mind wandered. One of the places it wandered to was "I wonder what happened to Fatt Max?" Honest!

    Hey Fatt Max,

Nice bike, I like the ST7. Took one for a long ride back when I was approaching full license. Chose the M50 because it was shaft drive and the ST7 is chain.

Over here in Aussie they sell it with a 650 motor in it so it meets LAMs requirements. I thought it'd be a great learner bike.

Know what you mean about that move up from the GV250, the sudden ability to pass out on the open road is a very pleasant surprise

Yeah, surprising after being limited to 120 km/hr max (130 km/hr downhill with a following wind). But not so surprised that one could suddenly overtake that one would actually lose consciousness
