Here is a bike that would suit someone moving up from LAMs. Most lams bikes will fetch enough to buy it outright.

I didn't mention it because I was thinking of buying it if there is no bidding to turn a profit.

Wise move. I've never ridden one but I've always liked the idea of the shaft-drive naked.

It's like a Japanese R-series BMW. Has anyone else even done it in the last 30 years?

An unpopular very high mileage bike no one much has heard of. I wouldn't invest in that scheme using your money.

Too much steering angle for a motorcycle.
Don't you look at my accountant.

There was one on yesterday with less than 30'000k, 1999 and loads of lovely stuff on it. $4'500 IIRC. Must have been snapped up.

Yes. I did it in 2014/15.

And here it is. Perfect LAMS. Could do with a new tank cover.

And another for a lower budget.

Only one thing to say to TM sellers like this one: If you can't spell, I'm not buying your fucking bike.

Why is so fucking hard, 40 years after "FAIRINGS" (see how that is spelt kids?) started appearing on bikes, to spell "FAIRINGS".

On TM alone I have seen the following attempts in the last couple of weeks:

    ferrings
    furrings
    feyrings
    ferryings
    farings
    fiarings
    farrings
    fair rings

Always followed with some sort of half-witted assurance that "its (sic) only cosmetic and that shit will buff out bro". Those bikes with "only cosmetic" damage are ALWAYS listed at some sort of bloody extravagant price and when you ring or email and say, "I've priced up the fucked bits on your bike and even at the cosmically inflated price you've listed it at, you have to give me $500 to take the poor abused thing off your Genghis Khan-like hands", you get offered some form of personal mutilation coupled with sex and travel instead of profound thanks.

    WTF is up with that?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

You forget. Nobody under 25 can spell these days and its a LAMS bike.
Finding a LAMS bike owned by a literate owner is unlikely. That's why the licence test is multiple choice.

Someone ring this guy and offer him $500 for a track bike.
Sub frame looks bent but stick a race tail on and have fun.
