If its a smaller bike your after to start on this makes better sense than most used 250ish size bikes.
Bet you could own it for a year and get 80% of the money back selling it when you upgrade.

26hp seems good for something so light and compact. 129kg
    No doubt fun.
But it's figures like that which have turned me retro. I have two 90's 2t's in the shed, 230 and 250 trailies, learner legal, which are ball park the same weight but both have about 40hp. Not the handling or brakes mind you.

Speaking of reliability. Me Dad had a 390 and it started leaking oil from the head gasket after just 6 months. Took it back and got a 690 instead.

    Just sayin.

Idd own it for touring on. Saying that it would always be the second bike in the pecking order for garage space.

Yeah but you'd have to stop for gas and to eat, both things you're supposed to take your helmet off for. What if some one recognised you? Maybe deck it out like an ME109 with some Nazi motifs (not sure i can spell swasticker so i wont try) on the hard luggage and a machine gun or two.

Gothic Cross on each pannier is less offensive and you paint little roundels on the flanks to indicate kills.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I thought the current trend was to stick on the national flags of countries invaded, er, toured.

You'd have to have gone somewhere on it to qualify. I'm not sure if the South Island has its own flag.

I'm thinking those little leather caps would be the order of the day. There must be some specialist site I can order them from.

    Who's bringing the Ramstien CDs?

Scary thing is some LAMS bikes are worth enough to sell then buy the busa outright.

Anyone up North after a carb class racer. Assume that's what the pre 2k rules are and this would qualify.
Idd get it for myself but my memories of ongoing expenses are flooding back now and I sold my personal van.
Would be a great track hack for open days.

I do miss my SP. But I think buying that would make me miss it more. Looks like good bassis for a trackbike, but you've gotta not trust someone whod let a bike get like that. $755 is excellent buy if it goes.

I think if its a track bike in mind good value. You would worry about the lack of care in its past but everything second hand carries risk. Less risk than taking your newish sports bike to an open day though.
My first experience on a track day was a new SP1 in 2001 when they were 29k to buy and after about 10 mins a Ducati went splat right in front of me under brakes (turn one Manfeild) and I just about run it over. Not going to take an expensive bike near the track again.
