MV got wet 2 weeks ago. Not only did it take hours to remove the fairings and clean it I will never be able to sell it now.

one of these days i will buy a steam cleaner, till then both bikes just get a good clean where i can get to and when i have bits off for various reasons then a bit more of a polish up.
can understand not wanting to get it dirty if selling but i see so many bike adds on TM where the seller is claiming that "hasn't been ridden in rain" or "most kms done in dry".

Might put "Ridden in the rain and proven to be waterproof. Dropped several times by current owner but haven't managed to damage a lot." on my next auction.

I'm thinking of selling my 660 tenere and will have to be honest. It's well maintained.
It's been through rivers, up to the seat, but never dropped in one, its been up past the black stump and dropped the odd time, it has all the necessary guards to protect it and they have some marks to prove their worth, the rest of the bike is unmarked and yes it's been ridden in the rain "heaps"

How has it done only 8000kms in 10 years? All the owners need a damn good smiting.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Or he's got several bikes. My YZF SP never went out in the rain.

The RF did, but it deserved it. I generally choose not to ride in the rain these days. Grown weary of that malarky. Cept on the dirtbike. That's still fun in the wet.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Half hour to go... Cheap as fuck for now. How high will it go?

    Auto bid is on.
