The RF did, but it deserved it. I generally choose not to ride in the rain these days. Grown weary of that malarky. Cept on the dirtbike. That's still fun in the wet.
From the bloke who used to give me shit about admitting to not enjoying riding in the rain, but I done diddly still did and do it.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

It was on the list of bikes I wanted when I ended up getting the bandit. Only issue was he was asking more and wouldn't budge on price. Now his buy now price is nearly what I offered him.

How long ago Mossy, I have never rode one. But I am picking supertanker.

Think it was 3200 I offered and was about 5 or 6 weeks ago.
Ended up with the 2005 bandit for 3500 which seems a bargain considering how well does everything. Maybe not nearly as much power but enough to pull in top gear from as low down as 60kph.
I never owned one either but I did have a zx10 which is what this replaced. One thing the 10 did was loaded up with lots of gear and passenger and performed almost as well as unloaded. Unless your trying to carve up other bikes in the twisty roads they would do well.
I would assume the zzr1100 would have been much the same with a little more top end power as the 10 was.

The bro had a ZZR1200. Nice touring machine, no real faults that I noticed.

He also had a ZXR1200 until recently, which I liked better, most excellent mill, smooth as silk, power everywhere.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

super tanker?? naaa but not a full blown sports either hence the sports tourer category, the operate best with the throttle and though they wont keep up with modern sports bike they are no slug either, only thing needing done is tightening up the suspension if it hasn't been done already as they are only set up for an eighty kg rider and once ya put a 100kg rider plus 120L of luggage and the missus on the back well they kinda handle like a whale, but once set up properly ya hardly notice. awesome bikes is all i can say

of course i am not biased in any way

If it really has never been thrashed, it will not respond well to being ridden properly I'll bet.

Didn't take long for someone to wipe the buy now away.
Its possible bidding will exceed what was the buy now price. I cant remember but I think it was 3.6

My brother has a K3 for sale without anywhere near as high K's, buy now $5500. I think it'll sell for $5K which seems about right for an early thou.

    $3600 is really cheap.
