Take it to VTNZ North Shore where they are used to doing vehicle inspections on UK imports. Neil was the guy who did my Harley, if he is still there. He advised me it was cheaper and easier to get it registered onto NZ plates. Which is what I did. Left it with him for a couple of hours and collected it fully registered.

I took it to Parnel VTNZ, it cost me $120 for the year all in, and it failed on dodgy rear wheel bearings, a problem I knew about but isn't really looked at on UK MOT so was hoping they wouldn't notice. The chap there Gary, he is a brit and knows his stuff, very helpful. So i'll pop back when I change my wheel bearings. Just got to see if I have some replacements in my pot of bits, and borrow some tools..

Rust wasn't a problem, yay.
