Post up a video so we can hear what it sounds like. Did you find the braided brake hoses make much of a difference?

Hey I might just do that, it sounds a lot different then the Yoshi I replaced and louder when opened up with a real throaty sound when closing down, the braided lines are much better, a lot firmer and better feed back, have had them before on another bike and would recommend plus it cleans up the front end.

It's been a few months - you must be due for a exhaust change!!!!

Funny you say that, the single sided setup is as we type undergoing mods at a friendly exhaust shop...

I've seen these in mags. Look really cool. I'd be looking for one myself if I didn't have one already!

    Looking good there.

Have you been to their web site? shows which models he does and a gallery of photos of others that have them, saw a Honda at Hampton that had his pipes. They are all hand made so don't expect a Yoshi finish to the welds but hey that are good quality, if they were not I would be saying so on here for sure. Cheers

The guy that does the conversion works with very expensive race cars doing the computers and his interest is that he rides a 1400, the clocks now have white faces with a blue back light. All GSX1400s have a sensor that informs the ECU what gear is currently selected in order to limit the torque available in lower gears. The information takes the form of a voltage that reflects the gear selected. The circuit comprises of a single-chip Microprocessor that constantly monitors this voltage and displays it on a series of LEDs mounted under the tacho dial face.
Depending on the voltage detected the unit displays a corresponding LED for gears 1 to 6. When 1st is selected a red light shows at 1000rpm 2nd at 2000rpm and so on up to 6000. It also shows a warning of flashing red lights when the side stand is down or the kill switch is on.

As for the cost it was 220.00 pounds, close to $500.00 when all said and done, the postage was over $100.00 return.

Yeah, pretty trick eh? Clever stuff. And why not if you can afford it for your baby?
