The short answer is yep (dino should be able to confirm)

But a 370 to a 15year old is grunter than both of them

pretty much the same bike just a bigger donkey, and yeah a bit faster. for some reason the 500 wasnt as popular but then the500 had more superior compitition in the xr and tt/xt500's, still reckon the 80/81 dr500 enduro is the coolest looking.
i had the 82 bush pig and to a 16yr old it was an awesome beasty, had another one about 4 years ago, i loved it cause it reminded me of my youth and the fantastic memories, but reality hit so i brought the 650

a mate who owned the sp370 i rode, went on to have a dr500, it was real cool...long shocks with blue springs and longer forks (pe maybe) and a 3" supetrap muffler. he used to ride it to high school and gave it arseholes!

I wish, he wont sell, but its cool just watching it and I'm sure I'll get a few more rides before it or another one eventually ends up in my garage

In the mean time Have drowned my sorrows by buying a Turbo Charged Datsun and have possible become a Bogan in the process
