Would recommend going to to Warkworth via Puhoi Pub via Coatesville.

I did that last weekend, took the gravel detour (I think it was Upper Waiwera Rd?) to Puhoi. Was awesome. just make sure you fill up in Silverdale, I nearly ran out of reserve between Puhoi and Warkworth. Filled up 5 times on the one trip haha.

    Roads of note:
    Ridge Rd, off Riverhead Coatesville
And my favourite - Woodcock Rd near Warkworth

I'm a noob, so YMMV on how awesome you find the the roads.

I am leading the Pie and Pint run next Sunday for the fat bikers, Starting Papakura Autobahn, to Kihikihi for a pie, back to Waingaro for a pint then home..... via SH22 for some and SH1 for the rest

What K's do you get on a tank.... Might have to throw some fuel in the saddle bags :P (or do another regroup at a fuel station)

I have to put my reserve on at 80-90km

It's jetted leaner now with a shorter reserve draw....hopefully it's a bit better!

With an 8l tank? My klx300 got 170km on the 7l main tank then had a 4l separate reserve tank.

Apparently my bike gets to 110 miles (170ks?) On main, which is 8L. Reserve is only 2 litres.

    Or more correctly 150.3km. 1 mile = 1.609km.

Actually 93.4 miles equals 150.31 km. Hah, Google for the win.

7.58 L tank... including reserve. My reserve is just a raised feed in the main tank.
