Motorcycle will be easier than a car.

    - You will have no import duties
    - You will have to pay GST 5% of the bike's appraised value. So that means you need an appraisal. However, since you are moving over here as opposed to just buying a bike and importing it.... you might not have to pay any GST.
    - You will need a Federal and Provincial inspection a certain time after importing the bike.
    - If it is more than 15 years old.... there are very few requirements.

    - Check out the Registrar of Imported Vehicles for more information.

http://www.riv.ca/ It is US import based... but will give you an idea. I'd call then or customs and see what they have to say.

BTW - where are you planning on moving too? Wouldn't it be easier to just sell it in NZ and get more money in NZ then buy something here?
