Photos won't help you get round, they just give a bit of a laugh after... unless they are all about me.

I've checked my tyres, they are holding pressure, but bike hasn't moved far since Tubliss install. Removed tail bag and mirrors, all set. Leaving the rest of the ADV kit on, I should stick out a mile away.

I keep watching this video from last year and getting keener...

I did it last in 2012 and remember how buggered i was especially on the third lap, about half way around I'd had enough but had to finish. This year I'll be on the lighter Beta so that'll be easier but I've gotten older so that'll make it harder. Now I'm getting worried not excited but i don't like missing out on a good ride. See you up there

Well if it makes a difference, I haven't done a proper trailride in half a year or more.
This one is another good 5 minutes video, best bits in the beginning IMO.

I had ever done.... 2nd time I ever rode the TTR.... not been on a trail bike for
about 2 years since I sold the XR250... Only done ADV rides on the XT...

Yeabut you do the impossible every day Pete.

Editing videos brings interesting dilemmas, to cut or not to cut. Usually a cut video is more entertaining to watch showing only a few highlights, but sometimes a few longer bits with less cuts can give a better actual picture of the big day out.
This guy Richard often posts videos which I find impossible to watch end to end, almost totally uncut laps of trailrides 1.5 hours long. I don't think I've been able to watch one completely without skipping forward but here's a 15 minute Dalethorpe cut of his with multiple medium(ish) length segments showing a good perspective of the track... if you can tolerate non steady shaky head cam without turning green.... long live the Sony action cams which incorporate a steady shot feature, though they have other small issues of their own. Probably what I'd get next if I upgrade the old GoPro HD1.

The last video I will be posting here today.

Hope you guys have a great day. My husband (ttr250) and teenage son (ctx200) will be joining in the fun. Myself and the younger fella are giving it a miss as last year we were a bit of a liability (but that didn't stop us having a great time).

the best thing about my boy getting another dirt bike...

..is that he can't fit it yet!

That means I am first in line to ride his klx 140L.

Hoping to find some stuff easier to master on a dirt bike. Like getting air and popping wheelies.

Have a good day out guys, my snapped achilles is not healing as fast as I hoped, still to early on in the rehab to risk resnapping it

Great to hear you can now joy the fun on sunday Pete- glad you liked my video.

Having recently got back into trail ridding, I wasn't familiar with a lot of the rides, but thanks to Richad Streeter, your able to find an up and coming event (Previous year) and watch the entire loop!
I think Richard goes a great job- and appreciate effort. I tend to skim through the videos looking at the terrain, how long the loops are, enduro deviations, and the total time it takes to get around.

Yes, make no mistake, I have watched many of Richards and will continue to do so, they are good for what you describe with the ride in full, but I just prefer what I'll call the medium length stuff with some trimming for that while the super cut highlight videos such as yours are simply entertaining and can be watched more than once. Good stuff.

Sorry, no notification so far by email or webpage, usually if they pospone they do it by lunch time Fridays is what they say on the emails, still always possible I guess if it gets real bad out there.

    On FB...
There is an easier Childrens & Novice riders course as a slip on Bell Hill prevented us using this area last year. There is a number of other changes which avoid very wet areas and keep the course ridable. Important thing to remember is use the course options as appropriate for your bike and your riding ability. Options available are Children, Novice & Children, ATV Novice & Children, Main Course, Enduro [only suitable for experienced riders].
