I was being silly about that. But we did jetting on a mates bike, he didn't care at the time, now he won't shut up about how much better it is.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
I should fly you down to tune my bike for me
How it works is because of being incredibly lazy, I will not take the carb off unless it is totally necessary, but if for some reason I do I would look at the jetting then, until that day it stays as it is
I did go as far as changing the pilot and mains when the engine was being rebuilt a while back
fuck me... at the rate of petrol going up... ths could be us soon...

Was riding out at the bike park on Saturday with a fellow Beta owner, showing me some new trails. Some were very above my skill level so I spent a fair bit of time horizontal. No change there then. As D said, those MUDBUG owners were awesome. I am even slightly tempted myself....
Until you realise just how uncomfortable having 4" of suspension just knocking down a bumpy trail.

It becomes well worth putting up with it when you ride past guys on later bikes stuck on the sides of hills, bogs or drowned in rivers (disclaimer: only done 2 out of 3 of those so far), I just loves my Mighty DR143 big block but it has a whopping 7 inches of rear suspension travel
I did all that on a borrowed DT175 but against soft targets of adventure bikes.
But geez the rough gravel uphills in low gears were tedious and made me wish for my mediocre 1st gen DT200 with its sophisticated mid 1980s trail suspension
