Greta Valley ride 19th January will be the next, as I'm now an unemployed bum I have plenty of time to go riding anytime I please, at least until the money runs out, but then I will just go on a benefit and sit at home drinking and taking drugs like you're meant to
so.. all repairs to the KDX kick start have failed, and I cant find a replacement anywhere, any ideas of where to try that I may not know of?
cheers DD

Replacement what? Just the lever?
Assume you have been on just kdx site to find what else fits? Last generation model derived from KX?

Up the Mangatuks today on the Beta. Simple gravel roads mostly but a joy just to ride again. .
Got home washed bike, changed dash button battery. Start to check. Won't start. Turns and makes weird noises WTF! Almost starts. Hisses.

I used a YZ one for my GG 300. With a bit of gel oven cleaner the blue anodising came off.

His is 2010. Mine was a 07. YZ levers fit and are longer.

Terawhiti. First organised trail ride back. This is such milestone for me. I remember lying in hospital planning all the rides in was going to do. Then when I got out realising that I was pretty badly disabled. Months went passewhen I was wondering if I'd ever ride in any fashion.
Ride was spectacular for veiws. A lot of people would grumble about the easy trails, although apparently the As were difficult enough. But for me it was just great yo get out there at a level I can cope with. In fact on gravel sections I was getting out of shape and drifting in and out. It's all good practice to calibrate the brain again.
