    The Jazbug Returns

Yes- it's true. Lock away your whisky...

Well, for a few days anyway. I am coming back over to check up on the Welly mob from the 9th to the 15th of next month. Anyone about on the Saturday night for a little R&R?

Um. Other thing is, I am doing the Restricted to Full course with Roadsafe on the following Wednesday (the 14th). And, er, thing is, I'll need a 2 fiddy to do it on. I guess I can look into hiring one, but before I do that, has anyone (pretty please with ribbons and sugar on top) got one I can use for the day..? It has to be road legal, by the way. Now where is that 'pleading' emoticon..?

Oh - a catch up with the Jaz... Now that sounds fun...

Sorry - don't have a 250, if I did, it would be yours though!

    Cheers

    Hey Jazz

You are more than welcome to borrow my GN if you'd like. It may or may not still have the ghey "choppper-style" handle bars on it, so if you can handle that then your more than welcome to borrow it for the day . . .

Love to catch up... name a place a time.

I think my 250 might be too tall - but you're welcome to it.

I'm sorry Jaz but I leave for the UK on the 7th for 5 weeks so am going to miss your return trip. If I had a 250 you'd be welcome to it. Unless you have some 250 stickers to put over my 600 ones

Hope you have a great time though and all the best for the test.

Will hopefully catch up another time.

    All the best

    Taz

A big Thank you to Marty at typeface for sponsoring me to have a go in my first race

Woohoo - I heard rumours that you were returning to our fair shores!!! Are you going back to Aus afterwards or is there a chance you might stay? Oooooh - goo on father!!! Just a couple more years. Sat sounds good though.

That's real cool that you're doing the test too! If Str8Jackets bike isn't a goer, then you could use mine. I'm just always a bit paranoid about it so if she doesn't mind too much, maybe go for hers first. But if it doesn't work out, let me know.

Assuming you're going to the testing place near your old flat, I think the usual test route is up around Mt Vic on all those dodgey little streets and then, for my one anyway, we went on the 70km bit past the Renouf Centre and up through Brooklyn towards Owhiro Bay. Just make sure you completely, obviously stop for stop signs, give way even when you're sitting there and the person you're giving way to won't go, and when you have to point out the hazards remember to say that the testing officer in the car behind you is a hazard too - he told me lots of people forget to mention that!

Getting your Full license for when you become a perm NZ resident thats a very astute move.

I don't think Mikeys bike will be available. You may have missed his kneedown thread.

Hope you have a pleasant visit things haven't been the same here since you left.

Okay, as for Saturday night, um... well, a drinking type establishment... somewhere in the city, on Saturday night? Where do all you hip young people go these days?

Weasel- I'm doing the accelerated thingy with Roadsafe, thereby hopefully bypassing all that VTNZ nonsense. *fingies crossed*
I return to The Place Whose Name We Do Not Mention on the Thursday after, to begin plotting my return to Godzone.

And Taz- I shall never speak to you again. Ever.

Im more than sure mate, you've ridden a GN before so you'll be used to it which should help you when sitting the test.

Hehe, shotgun's, mmmm that'd be fun. If your sure then I luurve Vodka or Coruba (black). . . . But it's not really necessary!
