that's quite untrue. The Civic has well defined spaces for cars or bikes you can only park in the delimited spaces. The empty car spaces are counted electronically so people know if it's full or not before entering. I met the manager of the Civic carpark and he rides a bike (an Honda ST if I remeber well) and he doesn't like bikers riding the wrong way

    That car park needs sensors.
Sensor = bay. If you park in a bay - you pay for it.
Makes the math so simple (yes I am biased)

I'm only quoting what I was told on the day. It was also written on the warning notice attached to the bike (the bike park was full that day). I think this was before the sensors were installed. The "space" I was in was not marked as a car space and, IMO, no normal size car could've fit in it.

Next time you will do it properly.

1 Take bike out of Park.

2 Return without you bike gear with a hood on.

3 Bash him and take his ticket machine.

4 Record it and open a mystery nob KB account posting the footage.

5 Watch everyone comment on the footage.

Not magnetic. But it amuses me that you would put magnets in your pocket next to your credit card.

Simple. You're on private property, either pay for the use of their PRIVATE property or park elsewhere.

How would you feel if I borrowed your bike without your consent or making some sort of arrangement with you?
Using your logic as long as you weren't using it at the time I could just help myself.

You should have mentioned who was first up Everest while you were at it.
You should also mention whose team it was that the first two up Everest were part of and that without them, he would still have been climbing Mount Cook. And that also, on the previous days several other climber recceed the route for them, some giving up their opportunity to be first as well..

The OP did mention he had been parking there for a long time with no issue from the owner. It just sounds like the OP was caught out by a change in owner, and operating procedure. Any right minded person would say yeah, I see what has happened, lets work this out. I wonder how many people park cars there, probably none, until the park is full, and then someone in a compact squuezes in there, as all the spare space on the yellow lines next to the regular parks are full.

The OP should have just told them he paid for the spot, but someone must have stolen the ticket from behind his windshield.

Write a letter in stating your confusion and how sorry you are. Might sound like a fuckwit thing to do but it will most likely get you off the fine. Especially if you have a video, don't mind some of these cunts. Not like they haven't illegally parked before.

Six minutes plus of video ??? I'm never going to watch that ...

But this appears to be a commercial parking space - the company makes money from parking - you parked - you didn't pay

You're in the wrong ... pay the fine ...

If you're ol' school they wipe the magnetic strip on the back. If you're new school they partially kill the chip on the front. DAMHIK.

Do wonders to genetial piercings I have been told.
