Yep, Hamish and I are going - have done my own bookings as we like to do our own thing.

KiwiRider and Motomart are both running group tours, probably a good way to go if you're by yourself or if you haven't been before.

What's the approximate cost all up? Either for an indervidual or a couple.

    Depends how you do it.
    Airfare $400 - $500 from main centers.
Accomodation: On the island, reasonably expensive. This time we got an apartment in Cowes at AUS$200 night (sleeps five). We booked that when we checked out last year.

Camping at the track is a cheap option.

What we've done in the past is stayed in Melbourne and driven down on the Sat. and Sun. the trips no big deal an hour and half or so.

Depends on how soon you book and what you book.
As little as $1500 for a couple if you're good.
Ask LB as to how much you can get it to cost...

I don't want to air in a public forum how much the shopping cost me last year.

The rest of the trip was cheap in comparison!! (but did I have fun or what??!!)

We are running a trip. E-mail or PM if you want more details. Accommodation is the expensive bit, the price of rental houses in Cowes is astronomical.
