    Traded an '04 R1 today.

Fuckin mint! Gorgeous in red, just like Stone chuckers. Only done 3500km. We've got it on at $18995.

So, Trashy thinks, better ride this slippery little digger to see what the fuss is about.

Conclusion: Keep it. I'd rather have my Gixxer.

You loose, game over, thanks for playing.

Nah. Didn't feel as "racey" as the Suzuki. It's got no shortage of power but I didn't climb off shaking going "Phhwwwooooaaaaar!" like I do on the GSXR.

And pretty bikes are for girls.....

Can I have the pretty bike, Plllllz.

Actually what I have read on them, never ridden one myself. Is that they are very very smooth and easy to ride. Could it be that the Suz is just more aggressive so it feels more.... something?

Yep,hardly run in,I reckon bikes are always better when they`ve done a few thousand kms/miles over the recommended break-in period and loosened up properly.

too true, they make more hp after a bit of loosening up. a mate of mine once told me a loose engine is often a fast engine.(within reason of course)
