    yes thats the prob with the XT660... there so much weight in the motor it makes it
    hard to lighten them any real amount... But thats why yer see reports of 140k first engine life...
    The frame could never be said to be under built either..
    Can't have everything I surpose... The weight kills performance...
    The R/X is 170/180kgs & the Z at 209kgs.. none of them are really light..

    did they have any idea of when? still wouldnt mind the 900 or what ever is triple. those road bkes are so well priced compared to the tenere

    when i asked about the new vmax a few years ago they hadnt even heard of it going into production so not sure how reliable dealer info is

    No , but thinks it'll happen with an upgrade, current model tenere came out 08 in uk. XTX, XTR even older. Must be due surely.

    I wouldn't like to see the single discontinued...
    It's still the new kid on the block compaired to a DR650... Now if any bike is due for a upgrade...

    Would it be to much to hope that AJP are going
    to build us a new XT660R.... Now Yamaha are
    going to stop production of the XTR...
