Hotel with secure parking in Taupo?

I'm heading down to do the California Superbike training day on the 12th and was going to ride down on the 11th and stay overnight but I need somewhere suitable to put the bike.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Taupo that has secure parking?

In Taupo, we used to stay at the Spa Hotel, cabins at the back . Could be called a mite budgety, but quiet, never had any problems there at all. Used to be owned by a biker in those days.
Like anything in Taupo, expect to pay.

Depends entirely on your budget of course, but the Hilton definitely has secure car parking available.

I've also stayed at the Spa Hotel. Not secure parking as in garaged or anything, but there are lots of things you could chain it to there. It's a nice place, I wouldn't have an issue parking a bike there.

There is a back packers/hostel down town opposite a very decent pub across from that big park. Stopped there once for a sleep and was allowed to park the bike inside next to the sign-in desk for the night...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Best bet would be to book a batch in Taupo or a town nearby (Turangi maybe?) which has a garage. Secure storage, kitchen, all the space in the world... probably cheaper than a hotel too.

If you have trouble finding something, I've got a lockable garage where you can store the bike overnight.

I have found that quite a few Motelier's are very accommodating when it comes to secure overnight bike storage.
I would get on the phone and discuss a booking with storage option with them.
