    More modern Jawas don't run the continuous loss system. I've got a Jawa. My brother has a GM. Both lay downs. None of them slow upright beasts haha.

    ...i've got close to 700,000 k's on my old toyota cruiser...nothins bin done to the motor apart from me being an absolute nana and doing a regular 5 to 6 thou oil and filter change...i'd set off for the pole, either of them, tomorrow in her...i reckon the slippery stuff has kept her slippin' along...

    imo the purpose of an oil cooler is just that (to cool oil).......surely having one wether or not its req has gotta be a bonus to the lifespan of yr eng considering it can lower yr oils temp by about 10 deg...........appears strange to me that Honda used them on xr 250's and 400's but not the 600,perhaps the 600's inframe oil capacity is larger? in which case would double like a cooler in its-self? hmmm

    That could be because oil has to be at a proper temp to work effectively. Lower revving thumpers generate less heat than a higher revving mx bike.
