Picking up Heavy Duty Magazine's Indian Chieftain that is being customised as a project - hopefully this afternoon. I've got first shift with the bike. It's just been painted. Looking forward to it.

Thanks - and I agree - I like the black classic model best from the new range. The bagger is a nice touring bike though and it seems I'm going to deliver it to Melbourne HDM HQ from here in Brisbane.

I have an article on the Chieftain in the next Kiwi Rider magazine too.

Just cruised through Sturgis where they are busy preparing for the Rally - they have THREE test ride depots for Indian, and the local Casino is giving one away - they're doing a great marketing job, on what I believe to be an excellent bike

BTW the $90 motel we stayed in, costs $345/night in a couple of weeks.....

My friend Mark is on a plane to L.A. now - to pick up a Victory Cross Roads to ride to Sturgis.

500,000 people they reckon this year.
