Strewth! Appologies for my flippant comment.
"Sorry Officer, umm.... my yellow power band got stuck wide open"
Such terrible news. Sorry to hear of your loss. Ride on.
Keep on chooglin'
Not the result anyone would want.
On you for coming here and posting this up, it took some courage and initiative.
I'm sure anyone here on KB would have had their eyes and ears open if they'd seen your post.
My condolences to you,his family and friends.

Sad loss , rest in peace brother
That is an awful shock. It just seemed likely he'd stopped off somewhere or gone elsewhere as we do but to have died...oh so sad.
I'm struggling for words.
My sympathies to you Lidra and his friends and family.
Hi Guys,
We were on site seconds after Westpac found the location. Unfortunatelly the accident happened yesterday.
It happened on a gentle curve there was a brake mark before the curve no other marks on the street. He was found still attached to the bike about 5 meters from where he left the road.
There are no other details at this stage of what and why, if the family will allow it I will update the thread with future details.
Regards,
Liviu
Since we haven't had a situation like this for a while, and plenty of new members, a reminder of the site rules is best

And that is the honest truth your honour..
I am so sorry to read the events of today, and the tragic end result. Thoughts are with you for the loss of your friend.
I know if I didn't have my friend arranged to meet me for a drink the evening of my crash it would have been a similar outcome as 111 were never called and no one else knew I was missing.
A tragic reminder to riders to always let others know where they are heading, especially if riding alone. I am so saddened to hear of the outcome today.
This is very sad. I rode through there yesterday morning and must have gone past the scene.
RIP.
Only a Rat can win a Rat Race!
My sympathies.
