I was but it's the weekend after an L's angels Cape ride so I'll give it a miss this year. Last couple of years down there have been awesome times! Have fun.

I did a search and came up with this thread. I'm heading down to The Burt, would this be the place for all things Burt-ish?

Yeah, why not, go ahead, knock yourself out......

    I'll give you a starter.......

My plan is to be there in time for the beach racing 5 o'clock Friday night.

$15 for breakfast, better be bloody good or bloody big, $15 buys a lot of toast

    Windy

It's my daughter's 20th birthday so regrettably I'm locked down at home. Invercargill has been reverberating with bikes since Wednesday and today the roads have been solid with motorcycles. Excellent. Pity I can't join in.

The weather is warm and sunny although some gale force winds have just arrived. No rain and its warm enough so it will be an interesting night for tent poles but probably most people won't notice.

Seems like this year has a bumper attendance, the rally is always well supported but there are a heap of people around.

    Welcome

As a motorcyclist I'd like to say that living in a city with rolling thunder is unique. That is what visiting bikers bring here. And our people enjoy your presence. Its pretty special.

    Thank you for coming.
